Tell Perry ("Tell Perry", "we", "us") operates the Tell Perry service at tellperry.life and is the data controller for the personal information described here. Contact us at support@tellperry.life.

• Account details (name, email, password credentials, date of birth for the 18+ check) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you and our legal obligations.
• Content you create (household and circle records, check-ins, reminders, notes, emergency card details, and Just in Case information such as what an important document is, where it is kept and who should know) — to provide the service and share it with the people you choose. Tell Perry does not collect or store your actual documents. Legal basis: performance of our contract.
• Contact details of people you invite (name, email, phone) — to deliver invitations and notifications you ask us to send. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating the service you requested.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Technical and usage data (device type, browser, IP address, app events, error logs) — for security, fraud prevention, and improving the product. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Marketing emails, where you opt in. Legal basis: consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Tell Perry is built around check-ins, updates, reminders and permissions rather than continuous location monitoring, and we do not sell your personal information or share it with advertisers. We collect only the information you choose to provide that is needed for your account and the features you use.

• People in your circle — what you have chosen to share, according to the permissions you have selected and the features you use.
• Stripe, Inc., our payment processor, for card payments, subscription billing, invoicing, and refunds. Stripe collects payment details directly; Tell Perry never receives or stores your card number.
• Service providers (subprocessors) — hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, and error monitoring, acting on our instructions.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law or to protect rights and safety.

We are based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and other countries. Where information is transferred from the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. After you delete an item it is removed from the service; after you close your account we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep longer for legal, tax, or accounting purposes (typically up to 7 years for transaction records). Security and error logs are retained for up to 12 months.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls designed so that records are readable only by authorized accounts, private storage with signed access for the photos you choose to add, hashed credentials, and least-privilege access for our own staff and systems. No online service can be perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond quickly to any incident.

You can access, correct, export, or delete your information from within the app, or by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you also have the right to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. We respond to requests within one month.

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to secure the service. We do not use advertising cookies. Any analytics we use is limited to understanding product usage, and you can manage cookies through your browser settings.

Accounts are for adults aged 18 or older. Information about children may be recorded by a parent or guardian within their own household space.

Tell Perry attempts to deliver the notifications you select through the methods available, such as in-app messages, browser or device notifications and email. Delivery can depend on your device and browser settings, email and push providers, internet and service availability, and other factors outside our control, so notifications may be delayed or may not arrive.

Tell Perry is not an emergency-response service, a medical provider, or a legal service, and it does not contact 911 or law enforcement on your behalf.
